Kayenta Residence - St. George, Utah
This beautiful home was designed from the ground up by REA Architecture in conjunction with contractor Brent Smith. Not only is it located in the elite Kayenta community in Ivins, Utah, but the site chosen for the lot provides the most stunning views available to any home in the area. The house was designed to accomodate every breath-taking view available. Topographical surveys and sun studies were done on a 3-dimensional digital model to ensure that every aspect of this home was perfect.

about us
Our History
In the Spring of 1988, Rand Eardley and Hank Louis, proposed to the Principles of the Salt Lake City firm for whom they were working the idea of opening a branch office in Park City, Utah. Although receptive to the idea, the Principles of the firm hesitated long enough, that Rand and Hank decided to venture out on their own and in May of 1988, 15.15 Architects was created. A small office was secured in the Deer Valley Plaza in Park City, drafting tables were purchased and the doors were opened for business. Projects and clients were plentiful and soon the small firm had hired two University of Utah Architecture School graduate students. Within the first year 15.15 Architects had outgrown the small office and moved upstairs to a larger suite and hired an office manager and additional staff. Projects ranged from small residential remodels, to a Deer Valley Hotel, to an art exhibit in Yokohama, Japan and varied commercial and industrial projects. By the fall of 1994, the business philosophies of Rand and Hank varied enough that it was agreed to terminate the partnership, dissolve 15.15 Architects and reestablish businesses separately. Hank stayed in Park City under the name of Form 15 and Rand moved his business to Salt Lake City and continued practicing architecture as REA Architecture, Inc. Early 1999 saw the elimination of the drafting board and REA Architecture, Inc. became computerized, designing projects and producing construction drawings utilizing computer aided drafting and design (CADD). REA Architecture, Inc. is one of the first architectural firms in Utah to use AutoDesks REVIT, 3D modeling program for design and production drawings. REVIT is leading the way in three dimensional, architectural design and drafting. This tool allows the designers at REA Architecture, Inc. to explore multiple design scenarios, in a medium that is easy for any and all clients to understand, providing the owner with the best possible finished product. Several years ago, REA's owner and employees were fortunate enough to find themselves facing the decision to make a change and begin to pursue Local and Federal Government funded projects. After enduring and overcoming the challenges of learning new design processes, REA has found its niche working with Government agencies across the Continental United States. Such agencies include;-The Corps of Engineers-The United States Air Force-Medical Command (MEDCOM)-United States Health Facilities Planning Agency (USHFPA)-The United States NavyAlthough the majority of our projects now consist of Government work, we have not forgotten our roots, and continue to pursue local Commercial and Residential design opportunities.
